Anna of Saxony (1544-1577), the second wife of William I, Prince of Orange, also known as William the Silent.
Anna was the daughter of Maurice, Elector of Saxony.
She married William the Silent in 1561, but their marriage was reportedly unhappy and later annulled due to her infidelity.
The print is part of a series illustrating the consorts and mothers of the House of Orange, and this particular print was made by Jacob Houbraken in Amsterdam in 1757.
