Antique 18th-century engraving of Daniel Finch, 2nd Earl of Nottingham (1647–1730), a prominent English statesman who served under Kings William III, Mary II, and Queen Anne. He is depicted in full periwig and ceremonial robes of state, framed within an elaborate oval cartouche above the Finch family coat of arms, flanked by heraldic supporters.

Published in London, 1738, with the note “In the possession of the Countess Dowager of Nottingham.” A distinguished portrait of one of the great political figures of late Stuart and early Georgian England, appealing to collectors of British aristocracy, noble heraldry, and antique engravings.
