Antique 18th-century engraving of Robert Bertie, 1st Earl of Lindsey (1582–1642), an English nobleman and Royalist commander during the English Civil War. He served as Lord Great Chamberlain and fought at the Battle of Edgehill (1642), where he was mortally wounded while defending King Charles I.
