This large, very colourful, twin handled Gien Faience jardiniere is hand painted and features a god and goddess on either side seated below red coloured bows and numerous cherubs supporting shell shaped fountains. It stands on four feet
it is in very good condition. Made in France, it dates from the period 1871-5.
